Let's examine a horrible bank billboard.

• Lazy stock photo? √
• Red clip not "significantly" different? √
• Red not the best color for a bank? √
• Meaningless one word tagline? √

Does that mean they have copyright on the word "absolutely" and no one can use it anymore?

Why do you think red is not the best color for a bank? Most banks use the red color on their logos, for example: Santander, HSBC, Citigroup, Bank of America. In Mexico we have Banorte and Scotiabank who also use the red color.

HAHA! I was wondering when you'd get to Atlanta. I pass that billboard everyday. There's another with goldfish. It's awful. If I pass by that one again, I'll email it to you.
